Your Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated RN to step into a key care provider role in a newly built home. Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Nurse provides skilled, person-centered clinical care while mentoring team members and promoting a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessments, medication administration, and clinical interventions
Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized Care Plans
Supervise and support RPNs and PSWs, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to best practices
Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and external care partners
Lead by example in promoting infection prevention, safety, and dignity in all aspects of care
Document and report resident changes accurately and promptly
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs as required
What We're Looking For:
Registered Nurse (RN)
in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Demonstrated knowledge of long-term care legislation, standards, and best practices
Experience in long-term care or a similar setting is an asset, but new grads are welcome to apply
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
A resident-first approach with a focus on dignity, comfort, and quality of life
Willingness to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
