As a Registered Nurse, you bring both skill and reassurance to clients and their families. Partnering closely with a Care Designer, you help design and deliver care plans that meet client goals with professionalism and empathy.

Duties and Responsibilities



Delivers Happier Aging by providing individualized, client-focused care in homes and community environments. Ensures the Brand Promise is fulfilled by taking full accountability for the client experience--providing families with peace of mind at every step. Performs complete nursing care and assessments in line with professional standards and the Code of Conduct. Maintains clear, proactive communication with your Care Designer, highlighting opportunities to improve client satisfaction and care quality. Responds promptly to the Care Services Center (CSC) for scheduling needs, meeting expected response timelines. Works within your professional competencies and knowledge, upholding safe and ethical practices. Acts as an ambassador for Nurse Next Door, representing the brand with compassion and professionalism. Uses digital tools (phone, apps, and email) effectively to ensure accurate documentation and smooth communication.

Availability



Flexible scheduling required - casual, part-time, and full-time positions available.

Requirements



Two positive professional references Current, active registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and valid certification At least 1 year of RN experience (home care experience preferred) Ability to travel independently for home visits Current CPR and First Aid certification Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Flexible to work various shifts--early mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnights, as care is provided 24/7

Qualifications



Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Bachelor of Nursing (BN) from a CNO-recognized institution Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Valid Certificate of Registration from the CNO Current CPR and First Aid certification Valid driver's license
Experience Requirements:

Proficiency with digital tools, especially Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar) Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal Customer service or leadership experience considered an asset Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening Negative TB test required
