Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, home care, and assisted living facilities. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner. Participate in case management activities, including pain management strategies and discharge planning. Assist with phlebotomy procedures and laboratory tests as needed. Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Previous hospital experience in acute care settings is preferred. Experience in pediatrics, home care, nursing homes, or senior care is a plus. Familiarity with dementia care practices is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic or Cerner) is desirable. Ability to provide compassionate care while managing diverse patient populations, including children and seniors.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
