Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate expertise in various nursing practices. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple settings, including hospitals, home care, and assisted living facilities. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute care settings, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans based on medical history and current conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Perform phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required, ensuring accurate collection and handling of specimens. Provide pain management support and education to patients and their families. Engage in case management activities, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective patient care transitions. Offer specialized care for pediatrics, senior care, dementia care, and other populations as needed. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote recovery and well-being.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Proven experience in hospital settings or similar environments; acute care experience preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and nursing practices related to pain management, case management, pediatrics, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, senior care, and dementia care. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Experience with electronic health record systems (Epic or Cerner) is highly desirable.
