Position Summary:

Vitality BioMed is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a tranquil, patient-centered environment and is dedicated to holistic and functional healthcare. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in IV therapy and phlebotomy, looking to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, innovative clinic.

Schedule:

Wednesday:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Thursday:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturday:

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care & Patient Support

Administer IV therapy and perform blood draws with expertise and compassion Support patients with acute and chronic health conditions as prescribed by our medical team Perform screening and diagnostic procedures (BIA, Heart Rate Variability, Visual Contrast Sensitivity, basic vitals) Provide patient education and coaching on holistic health, wellness, and treatment plans Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards Prepare, set up, and clean treatment areas and equipment, maintaining a serene, welcoming environment Assist patients with holistic treatments (Red Light Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Oxygen Therapy, etc.)

Administrative & Operational Support

Accurately document all patient care in Jane and Accuro EMR systems Assist with patient scheduling, consent forms, and inventory management Support reception, laundry, and light cleaning as needed

Qualifications & Experience:

Active RN license in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) Minimum 3 years of recent, diverse nursing experience (e.g., outpatient, critical care, urgent care, chronic illness) Proven experience with IV therapy and phlebotomy (blood draws) is required Experience in functional medicine, internal medicine, or chronic illness care is an asset Proficient in EMR systems (Accuro, Jane, or Telus CHR preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication skills for both patient care and documentation Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a calm, patient-focused environment Demonstrated passion for holistic health, functional medicine, and patient empowerment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $32.71-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 24 per week
