:

Canadian College of Business, Science & Technology (CCBST) is hiring an

Online Personal Support Worker (PSW) Instructor

. The successful candidate will play a key role in educating and preparing students to enter the healthcare field as PSWs.

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with

current registration and no practice restrictions

with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Must hold a

GPA (Gentle Persuasive Approaches) certificate

to provide GPA training to PSW students. Minimum of

two (2) years of recent, relevant work experience

in a Canadian clinical environment, preferably in long-term care, community care, or chronic care. Must meet

instructor qualification standards

as outlined in the Regulations to the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. Teaching or training experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

Assist students through online lectures and computer-based training. Deliver lesson plans and assignments using a variety of teaching techniques. Administer and grade quizzes and exams. Perform administrative tasks including attendance, student records, and progress tracking. Develop and/or update course syllabi and learning materials as needed. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to promote success.
