Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have experience in various medical settings. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a passion for improving patient outcomes. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across different specialties.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform various nursing procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards. Assist in triaging patients in emergency situations or during routine visits. Engage in health coaching and provide resources for preventive care.

Qualifications



Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, and documentation practices. Previous experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of specialized areas such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or hospice & palliative medicine is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions. Proficient in performing physical examinations, administering injections, venipuncture, and specimen collection/processing. Ability to manage complex cases including discharge planning and case management. Candidates who have experience in areas such as surgical nursing, trauma medicine, or outpatient services will be given special consideration.
