We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospital, acute care, pediatrics, home care, nursing homes, assisted living, and senior care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, medication administration, and patient advocacy. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes and deliver personalized care tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities
Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
Administer medications and treatments accurately following established protocols.
Monitor vital signs and observe patient responses to therapies, documenting findings thoroughly.
Provide patient education on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care instructions.
Assist with procedures such as phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection.
Utilize electronic health record systems including Epic and Cerner for documentation and communication.
Coordinate case management activities to optimize patient recovery and resource utilization.
Support patients with special needs such as dementia or chronic illnesses, including pain management strategies.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care across all settings.
Skills
Proficiency with electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Extensive hospital experience with a focus on acute care, pediatrics, or senior care.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and nursing best practices.
Experience in pain management, case management, and laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy.
Ability to provide compassionate patient care in diverse environments including home care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospitals.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation standards.
