to help support our busy family medicine clinic. This role is perfect for a nurse who enjoys variety in their workload, with a hybrid of patient care and administrative responsibilities. You'll provide hands-on clinical support, guide staff, and help keep workflows efficient to ensure safe, patient-centred care.
This role answers directly to the Nurse Supervisor.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Support
Provide direct patient care, including triage, vitals, injections, sample collection, ECGs, and assisting physicians with procedures.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
Act as a clinical resource for staff, offering guidance and mentorship.
Leadership & HR
Communicate with patients, physicians and other team members
Support the training for both clinical and administrative staff.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure uninterrupted daily clinic operations.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, ideally in primary care or family medicine.
Strong clinical skills in triage, immunization, and minor procedures.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
