Qualifications:

Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS certification (Level C). Must have started Coronary Care 1 within 1 year of start date. Must have current or recent clinical experience within the last 2 years in orthopedic surgical nursing. Must have completed a physical assessment course within past 5 years. Demonstrated skill and knowledge of I.V. Therapy and venepuncture is required. Demonstrated effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and availability. Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety, considers safety of self and co-workers
