  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certification (Level C).
  • Must have started Coronary Care 1 within 1 year of start date.
  • Must have current or recent clinical experience within the last 2 years in orthopedic surgical nursing.
  • Must have completed a physical assessment course within past 5 years.
  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge of I.V. Therapy and venepuncture is required.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and availability.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety, considers safety of self and co-workers
