Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Duties



Conduct thorough patient assessments and document medical histories. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and specimen collection. Participate in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning from acute care settings. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

Skills


Candidates should possess a combination of the following skills:

Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Experience in critical care settings, including ICU or emergency medicine. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Ability to perform advanced nursing procedures such as dialysis, ventilator management, or acute pain management. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education. Understanding of hospice & palliative medicine principles and senior care practices. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.62-$62.04 per hour
