Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate is dedicated

Direct Patient Care Leadership, communication and coordination of care within a multidisciplinary team Participate in professional practice initiatives Medication administration Documentation in electronic record Coach/encourage/mentor staff and students to develop and achieve their best Provide patient/family health education Adherence to all health and safety policies, procedures and provisions and the recognition and reporting
of unsafe hazards and work practices

Education & Qualifications

o Hold a current certificate of competence for a Registered Nurse in the Province of Ontario


Current BCLS Possess an Intravenous certification Recent experience in surgical nursing Computer Skills in electronic documentation Commitment to customer service and continuous education Ability to adapt to a continually changing workload environment Excellent Attendance record Demonstrated commitment to Patient Rights and patient partnered care

Hours of Work:

Applicants must be willing to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required

from the Greater Toronto Area. Situated in Norfolk County (Ontario's South Coast), Simcoe is not far from Lake Erie


and the 88 miles of shoreline that includes long stretches of sandy beach.
