ROLE: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care | Agency Travel Contract| Barry\'s Bay, ON Full time| 3 Month Contract $70/hour 2-5 Years Experience LTC Mandatory Shared Accommodations Provided $50 Monthly Coffee Allowance

• 2-5 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Registered Nursing License in good standing with the Provincial College of Nurses
• Current BCLS
• Vulnerable Sector Screen renewed within 12 months
• Professional Liability Insurance

• Patient care
• Head to toe assessment
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Patient/family education and instruction

• Evaluate and monitor the patient\xe2\x80\x99s progress.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a resident\xe2\x80\x99s medical condition.
• Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members.
• If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors.
• Maintain Resident records.
• Create and implement effective care plans.

• Responsible for maintaining care standards
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Communicate with doctors and residents to keep everyone updated on test results and treatment recommendations
• Monitoring resident care

• Human Resource, Corporation, and Department Policies
• Must provide satisfactory vulnerable sector check
• Must maintain Registered Nurse class license with the Provincial College of Nurses
