Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role involves utilizing clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nursing services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being. Proficiency with electronic health records such as Epic and Cerner, along with experience in acute care, pain management, and case management, is highly valued. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, support patient education, and promote positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in diverse settings including hospital, senior care, pediatrics, and home health. Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders while adhering to safety protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and assess health status to identify changes requiring intervention. Document patient information precisely using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner. Assist with laboratory procedures including phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed. Coordinate case management activities to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or requiring pain management strategies. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies related to patient safety and infection control.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in the state of practice. Proven experience in hospital settings with a strong understanding of acute care procedures. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner. Experience in pain management, case management, pediatrics, or senior/dementia care is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and laboratory procedures including phlebotomy. Prior experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments is advantageous. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach toward diverse populations including children and seniors. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
