Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, home care, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes. The RN will play a crucial role in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of treatment protocols while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor patient responses Provide pain management and support for patients with acute care needs Perform phlebotomy and other laboratory procedures as required Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner for documentation and patient management Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate patient care across various settings Deliver nursing care to pediatric patients and those requiring senior or dementia care Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and medication administration Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice Previous hospital experience preferred; experience in acute care settings is highly desirable Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic or Cerner) is a plus Strong understanding of pain management techniques and case management principles Experience working with children, including pediatrics, is beneficial Background in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care is advantageous Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in medication administration required Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on improving quality of life for patients
