Our Brucejack and Red Chris Mines, located in the stunning northwest region of British Columbia, offer unique opportunities to be part of Newmont's high-performing operations. Brucejack is a high-grade underground gold mine about 65 kilometres north of Stewart, while Red Chris is a large-scale open pit and underground copper-gold mine in Tahltan Territory. Both sites operate on a fly-in/fly-out basis with pick-up points across Western Canada. Your Impact
As a Registered Nurse, you will be the primary medical resource on site, delivering high-quality emergency and non-emergency care, supporting the health needs of a remote workforce, and ensuring safe, effective medical practices that reduce strain on external healthcare systems. This position will; work across both sites as required on a casual basis.
As Part of Our Team You Will
Provide full-scope nursing care, including assessment, treatment, and medication dispensing. Respond to medical emergencies and stabilize patients using advanced critical care skills. Manage acute injuries, illnesses, and primary health needs of the camp population. Administer medications, suture injuries, and perform procedures within RN scope. Maintain accurate medical records and prepare reports for internal and external partners. Oversee clinic inventory, equipment, and safe medication storage. Liaise with off-site healthcare providers and support communicable disease management. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure round-the-clock medical support.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
Registered Nurse (Within BC) in good standing.
Several years of RN experience, ideally in emergency, rural, or remote settings.
Experience working in remote or resource-limited environments is a strong asset.
Remote Certified Practice is an asset.
Current certifications: CPR, ACLS, and EPICC/TNCC.
Strong clinical judgement and critical thinking, with the ability to work confidently and autonomously.
Proven experience managing end-to-end patient care, including triage, injury management, and medication administration.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team.
Your Work Environment
This role is based in a remote, camp setting within an industrial mining environment. You'll work closely with other medical professionals while operating with significant independence. The role includes clinic responsibilities, after-hours coverage when required, and engagement with local health partners and First Nations communities.

The expected hourly rate for this role is CA$$53 - $63 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
