Job Overview:



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care. You will utilize your expertise in senior care, pediatrics, and medication administration to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Duration:

Minimum 1 month contract and can go for the longer duration too.

Compensation:

As per Provincial RN (ICU) standard.

Workload:

Guaranteed 36 hrs/week

Overtime:

Bi-weekly = 1.5x Pay Rate/hr

RN License of British Columbia:

Ensure your eligibility to practice in British Columbia.

Certifications:

Provide your BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certificate and Critical Care Certification.

Immunization Record:

MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Two-Step TB (or Chest X-Ray if two-step TB is not available).

References:

Furnish two professional references with their designations, both of whom should be supervisors.

Responsibilities



Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU Department, including assessment and treatment of pediatric patients. Administer medications and perform phlebotomy as needed. Maintain accurate medical records using Epic or Cerner systems. Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage acute care and pain management. Ensure compliance with BLS and CPR protocols while supporting senior care and dementia patients.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $70.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
Education:

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Registered Nurse (RN) License (required) * BC RN License (required)
