We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including pediatrics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and acute care hospitals. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
Develop individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and document patients' progress, responding promptly to changes in condition.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
Perform laboratory tests and phlebotomy as required for patient diagnosis and treatment.
Implement pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to medical terminology standards.
Experience
A valid Registered Nurse license is required.
Experience in rural family medicine is an asset.
Working in a family medical clinic is an asset.
Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
Prior experience with pain management techniques is a plus.
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and phlebotomy skills is advantageous.
