Registered Nurse
Job Description
The Registered Nurse provides nursing care according to the job description and standards of practice and criteria for Registered Nurses in the Burn Unit. Nursing staff will be expected to successfully complete critical care education in order to care for critically ill and ventilated patients.Qualifications1. Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
2. Current BCLS
3. 2 years Burn nursing experience (within the last 2 years)
4. 2 years Recent (within the last 2 years) experience and demonstrated skill and ability in critical care nursing
5. Demonstrated knowledge of the Nursing Care Planning process
6. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and team work skills
7. Demonstrated ability to utilize problem-solving and critical thinking techniques
8. ACLS preferredAs a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
