Your impact
Deliver a personalized, inclusive and elevated care experience in a collaborative and a multidisciplinary environment
Bring an honest and supportive approach to our patients by providing accurate and relevant health education using evidence-based practice
Be a critical member of our care team and practice in accordance with the code of ethics and standards set out by the CNO, CFAS, and Twig Fertility
Find new opportunities and efficiencies for our clinic and our patients through time management, prioritization and critical thinking
Your responsibilities
Communicate with patients via phone, email, and patient portal to provide accurate medical instructions and respond to patients' questions and/or concerns
Provide early pregnancy care and counselling
Perform preoperative care of patients - IV initiation, medication administration, preoperative assessment
Act as a scrub nurse in the procedure room (OPU, D&C)
Act as a circulating nurse in the procedure room - Administration of IV sedation, continuous patient monitoring
Conduct recovery room care and discharge teaching
Perform IUI procedures
Assist with endometrial biopsies and embryo transfer procedures
Your experience
RN - BScN degree
Fertility experience an asset
Current CNO registration in good standing
Current RNAO registration with LAP
BLS & ACLS certification an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must enjoy learning and interacting with people of all backgrounds
Experience, willingness and comfort with providing care to LGBT2SQ individuals and couples
Preferred - member of CFAS, CFAS-NSIG
Your schedule & location
This is a casual/as-needed position - perfect if you're looking for flexibility!
Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM (pick up shifts as needed)
Every other weekend: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Holidays: As needed
