Summary

We are currently seeking nurses who are either Emergency department Registered Nurse , Operating Room RN or ICU Registered nurse to join our dedicated team at Safe Umbrella Healthcare. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality nursing care in the operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Emergency department RNs will work in the ED OR nurses will prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures. Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs during surgery. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide pre-operative and post-operative education to patients and their families. Assist in the development of nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Maintain accurate records of patient care and surgical procedures.

Requirements

Current registration with the nursing regulatory body in B.C. If no active registration in B.C, ability to apply for B.C licence. Proven experience as a registered nurse in an operating room, ED or ICU Strong knowledge of medication administration and pain management techniques. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is an asset.

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour

Schedule:

12 hour shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift On call Overtime Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
