As a member of the interprofessional team RN Clinical Support provide comprehensive, quality and patient-centered care to patients and families in our transitional, geriatric rehabilitation and medically complex programs. Using a Primary Nursing Model RNs deliver high quality care including assisting patients with activities of daily living, administering medications, performing health teaching, and providing wound and palliative care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario 2-5 years of experience in a hospital setting (rehabilitation focus) Solid understanding of the organizational process and policies and nursing scope of practice to achieve positive patient outcomes Experience in geriatrics and rehabilitation preferred Excellent communication and collaboration within a team approach to care Proven ability to work independently, and as part of an inter-professional team Excellent knowledge of standards of rehabilitation nursing practice Demonstrates expertise in nursing assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills Knowledge and experience with PCC, POC, and NRS COVID Vaccination Mandatory (2 Doses)
