What would my role be?





Reporting to the Clinical Manager, as a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care according to scope of practice and in accordance with Bruyere Health policies, procedures and standards and with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. Your overall function will be to assist patients and their loved ones to manage clinical conditions and transitions, and maximize their self-care, psychosocial, spiritual, communicative and interpretive abilities. You will also act as a resource for members of the care team.


For information purpose only, please note that the positions would be aligned with Complex Care or Palliative Care, subject to change.

How do I qualify?





Required:


Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate




Preferred:


Membership in Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO). Fluent in French and English.*



Additional required qualifications may apply according to unit requirements.
