Job Description

Summary of Job:

The registered nurse will provide primary care services within a variety of programs including, but not limited to, preventative care and cervical screening, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, memory clinic, and coordinated care planning. Special interest will be given to those who have obtained, or are interested in obtaining, certification in foot care and/or lung health programs.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Current registration and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Strong computer skills Ability to work well independently Good organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Experience working in a community setting Experience working with individuals with complex needs Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity, whether related to race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required Valid driver's license with $2 million vehicle liability insurance Mandatory Vaccination Policy which requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination as a condition of employment
