The North Shore Health Network provides rural healthcare for communities along the north shore of Lake Huron - including services in Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing. The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

Current Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

Current BCLS Certification

ACLS Certification *or commitment to obtaining within prescribed period required

e-CTAS training/certification*or commitment to obtaining within prescribed period required

ASSETS:

Experience working in an Acute Care Setting

ACLS; PALS Certifications

Excellent Attendance record

Bilingual

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

Excellent decision-making and assessment skills

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Ability to practice and promote person-centered care

Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team

Ability to practice with cultural safety and sensitivity

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control procedures
