Job Description

BRHD is recruiting for a PT NIGHT RN. This position works 2230-0630. This line consist of 5 shifts per pay period (37.5).

The successful candidate must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ontario
- Experience working in a long term care home is preferred but not essential
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as Point Click Care and EMAR
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and patient assessment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively -Long Term Care and Geriatrics experience
