You'll play a key role in providing immediate, on-site emergency care and ensuring safe medical transport when necessary, making a tangible difference where it matters most.

What You'll Do



Deliver high-quality, professional emergency medical care to injured or ill workers on-site. Evaluate and manage patient conditions, determining care or transport needs. Operate under full ACP scope of practice, adhering to medical control guidelines and protocols. Collaborate daily with Suncor fire personnel in emergency planning, simulation, and incident response. Maintain clinical documentation and support ongoing site safety initiatives.

Qualifications



Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) or RN certification from an accredited institution. Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics or the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Minimum 3 years of field or occupational health experience, industrial or remote worksite experience preferred. Current ACLS & ITLS (Advanced) certifications. Clean Driver's Abstract. Valid Alberta Class 4 Operator's License (for ACP) Safety certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS, First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation. Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Assets



Experience working in collaboration with industrial fire teams. Familiarity with Alberta Health Services EMS Medical Control Protocols. Oil & gas or large-scale industrial worksite experience.
