We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our family practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Experience in various settings such as family practices and OAT clinics preferred.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual healthcare needs.
Develop and implement personalized care plans based on patient evaluations.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems (JUNO).
Provide support in specialized areas including addictions, geriatric, and infant/pediatric care.
Requirements
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the province of BC - MUST BE VALID AT TIME OF APPLICATION.
Strong clinical skills with experience in a family practice preferred.
Experience with electronic health record systems.
Experience in caring for OAT patients.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on empathy and respect for diverse populations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
