  • Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality care
  • Responsible and accountable for decisions and actions in the provision and management of nursing care for cardiac patients
  • Practitioner, consultant and educator for cardiac patient groups and health team members
  • Responsible and accountable for the provision of nursing care in accordance with the standards of nursing practice and THP Best Practices Protocols
Qualifications:

THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants.
  • Post-Secondary Education with a Certificate in Human Resources required
  • 1 to 3 years of HRIS experience an asset = Experience using an electronic Human Resource Information System, or similar electronic information management system.
  • Excellent computer skills, with MS Office, Outlook, Meditech, VirtuoHR and/or other HRIS
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Understanding and working knowledge of relevant Employee/Labour legislation including Employment Standards Act, 2000, Ontario Labour Relations Act, and Human Rights Code
  • Highly effective organizational skills, combined with excellent judgement and the ability to prioritize and manage a high volume daily and weekly workload to meet required deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when performing a wide variety of tasks
  • Ability to handle requests in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner
  • Self-directed individual who possesses initiative combined with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and facilitating skills to be able to communicate with individuals on all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a dynamic team in an ever-changing, fast paced customer focused environment
  • Must have a positive work and attendance record
