We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation and relief from tension. This role requires a deep understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs and preferences.
Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to individual client needs.
Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their goals to create personalized treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.
Document client sessions accurately, noting any changes in condition or preferences for future treatments.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a comfortable experience.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques through continuous education.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology to enhance communication with clients and healthcare professionals.
Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction with services provided.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to effectively understand client needs and convey treatment options clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated during independent sessions.
