We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a tranquil environment, utilizing their expertise to help clients achieve optimal health and relaxation.
Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, Swedish, deep tissue, or other modalities.
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to enhance their overall health.
Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients.
Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and improve skills.
Experience
Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with clients and understanding their needs.
Exceptional customer service skills to foster trust and ensure client satisfaction.
