We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, helping clients achieve their wellness goals.
Duties
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment plans to ensure effective therapy.
Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace following health and safety standards.
Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress.
Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
Schedule appointments and manage client bookings efficiently.
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients.
Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Qualifications
Certification or license as required by state regulations for massage therapy.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatments is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
Ability to listen attentively to clients' needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates.
