RITUAL Nordic Spa is seeking a friendly, positive and team-oriented Registered Massage Therapist to join our team! We are a cohesive, inclusive and collaborative group that is passionate about bringing wellness to our community.

Who we are

Opening our doors in 2022, Ritual Nordic Spa was the first Scandinavian style spa to launch In Victoria, BC! We have re-imagined the traditional Finnish sauna experience for our modern, urbanized lives. Ritual is a new urban day spa that delivers a refreshing wellness experience through the classic Nordic circuit of sauna, steam room, cold plunge, salt lounge, massage and outdoor relaxation zones - a new wellness Ritual for everyone!

The role:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their specific needs and develop personalized treatment plans Provide a wide range of massage therapy techniques, including but not limited to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage Administer treatments based on clients' individual conditions, preferences, and goals Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records & treatment notes Educate clients on benefits of sauna and circuit, home care & exercises to promote their overall well-being Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations Participate in Ritual events including but not limited to membership events, trade shows, Kiosk events etc. Wear provided Ritual uniform and ensure appearance is clean & professional Strive to exceed spa business objectives set out by Spa Manager Restock and run inventory on massage supplies and linens Effective reporting to Spa Manager and/or spa supervisors on equipment maintenance and supply needs

What we are looking for:

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) certification in British Columbia Current membership in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) Up-to-date CPR & First Aid Proficient knowledge and experience in a variety of massage therapy techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding client care Must be flexible with the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends A love of sauna, cold plunge and Nordic spa principles!
