Movement Sports Medicine in Thornhill is hiring one motivated RMT to join our team of healthcare professionals!

As a part of the Movement team, you would be working in a clinic that houses sports medicine physicans, physiotherapists, and a massage therapist along with a stellar patient experience team! want to do it. We have 6 Physiotherapists and a Sports Medicine doctor on staff who would happily refer patients in need of RMT services. The demand is there! You would be working alongside young and eager therapists who enjoy each other's company and know how to have fun! Movement hosts many social events throughout the year and you would of course be invited to all of them! We have a pleasant and accommodating administrative team who would handle all of your bookings, payments, and scheduling needs. You would have full access to our Jane EMR for your charting as well. We also host weekly mentorship for our clinical staff and have a Physiatrist come in for 'doc talks' once a month to go over case studies and any other topics our staff want to learn more about.

Responsibilities:

- Provide professional and therapeutic massage treatments to clients
- Assess clients' needs and customize massage sessions accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Keep accurate records of client information and treatment sessions
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and provide recommendations for at-home care

Requirements:

- Valid College of Massage Therapists of Ontario licence
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to adapt techniques based on client preferences and needs
- Professionalism and ability to maintain client confidentiality

As a Massage Therapist, you will have the opportunity to provide healing and relaxation to clients through the power of touch. You will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized treatments. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to effectively communicate with clients and ensure their comfort throughout the session. Additionally, a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology will enable you to address any specific concerns or conditions that clients may have.

Pay: $70.10-$90.25 per hour
