Position Overview:

As a

Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

at our

North end clinic in Saskatoon

, you will provide

therapeutic massage treatments

that meet a diverse range of client needs. You'll offer

traditional massage techniques

--including

Swedish, relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy

--to address physical tension and stress. Additionally, you'll integrate

somatic and trauma-informed approaches

that support clients' mental and emotional health, creating a

holistic, mind-body healing experience

.

What You'll Do:

Provide

therapeutic massage treatments

including

Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, and trigger point techniques

, tailored to each client's needs. Integrate

somatic awareness

practices (breathwork, body scanning, mindful movement) to support

nervous system regulation

and trauma recovery. Create a

safe, nurturing space

for clients dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain. Educate clients on the

benefits of massage for physical and emotional wellness

, including how massage supports the body's natural healing. Collaborate with our

multidisciplinary team

(counsellors, psychologists, and wellness practitioners) to provide

comprehensive, holistic care

. Maintain accurate, confidential treatment records and uphold professional standards.

What You Bring:

Current RMT license/registration

in good standing. Competence in a variety of

traditional massage techniques

(e.g., relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release). Interest in or experience with

trauma-informed care

,

mental health-focused massage

, and

somatic practices

. Completion of (or willingness to pursue)

Somatic Experiential Trauma Training

or equivalent is an asset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine commitment to

supporting physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing

. Ability to work

independently

and collaboratively in a team setting. Willingness to engage in

community wellness events and educational outreach
