Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health history to tailor massage treatments accordingly. Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massages. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns during the session. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Maintain accurate records of client sessions and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients. Proficient in medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Ability to maintain professionalism while providing empathetic care. Knowledge of safety protocols and hygiene standards in a therapeutic setting.

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
