Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, relieve stress, and improve overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication abilities to ensure a positive experience for all clients.

Duties

Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess client needs through thorough consultations and maintain accurate records of treatments provided. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any client concerns or questions. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Effective communication skills to convey treatment plans and address client inquiries. Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field of massage therapy.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00-$75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
