Job Description

The Workshop Performance Clinic is a multidisciplinary health clinic based out of Vancouver and Port Moody focused on sports performance, rehabilitation, and educating and empowering individuals to manage their conditions. We look to foster a partnership between the patient and the care provider to establish desired goals and a plan towards achieving those goals. Both owners have an extensive background in professional sports; both were professional athletes. That environment exposed them to the rehab world at the most elite level. Together they started The Workshop Performance Clinic with the goal of providing not just elite athletes but every one of their patients with the same treatment quality and experience that they received as world-class athletes.

At the Workshop, all treatment sessions are one on one, and we use manual therapy techniques in combination during our sessions, which include shockwave therapy/dry needling, cupping, graston, muscle, joint, and fascial mobilization, as well as exercise prescription.

We are currently looking for a Registered Massage Therapist.

Requirements:

License (and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists) and professional liability insurance for RMTs as well.

Criteria:

Working by Massage Therapist College standards of practice and evidence-based clinical practice Passionate about empowering patients and promoting wellness A manual therapist providing individualized rehabilitation programs through assessment, communication, treatment, education, exercises, and evaluating improvement Treatments that include strengthening, improving range of motion, and increasing body function Soft-tissue and manual therapy Able to work with a multidisciplinary team and a diverse population of clients Critical thinking and problem solving Alternative physical treatment techniques would be an asset

Compensations and Offers:

This is an independent contractor model with a percentage split. Working in a multidisciplinary setting with chiropractors, physiotherapists, RMTs, strength and conditioning coaches, personal trainers, kinesiologists, as well as front desk staff support. Booking, electronic charting (Jane), and access to all modalities and a fully equipped gym. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $85.00-$95.00 per hour
