Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires the ability to assess patient needs effectively and create tailored treatment plans that promote pain management and overall wellness. A background in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback. Educate patients on self-care techniques and the benefits of regular massage therapy. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant medical history. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Uphold the highest standards of customer service and patient confidentiality in all interactions. Stay informed about the latest developments in massage therapy techniques and occupational health practices.

Qualifications

Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience with pain management techniques and customer service in a clinical or med spa setting is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Previous experience in a med spa environment is a plus but not required. Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
