Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Massage Therapist Instructor at Kikkawa College located in Mississauga, ON. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering course content, practical demonstration, and providing mentorship to students. Key tasks include preparing and conducting lectures and hands-on classes, evaluating student progress, maintaining academic records, and participating in curriculum development. Ensuring a positive and conducive learning environment, promoting ethical massage therapy practices, and staying updated with current industry trends are also essential components of the role.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience Registered Massage Therapist designation with current registration in good standing Excellent communication and instructional skills Experience in curriculum development and educational methodologies Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency in evaluating and recording student performance Commitment to maintaining high educational standards and ethical practices Solid understanding of and adherence to industry regulations Bachelor's degree or diploma in Massage Therapy or related field
