Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team as an Independent Contractor position on weekends. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic and relaxation massages to clients, who are completing their residential addiction treatment program to help them helping them alleviate stress, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to meet individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

Requirements

Valid licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients Ability to maintain professionalism Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods while adhering to safety protocols.
