We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. You will be responsible for creating a soothing environment and delivering tailored treatments that meet the individual needs of each client.
Duties
Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Assess clients' needs and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment preferences and any concerns they may have.
Utilize medical terminology to document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive experience for all clients from arrival to departure.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Experience
Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within a healthcare setting.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
