The ideal candidate will provide professional massage therapy services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities.
Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health concerns to develop appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided.
Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments if necessary.
Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are clean, sanitized, and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety standards.
Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Qualifications
Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to health assessments and treatment planning.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and empathetically.
Prior experience in a professional massage therapy setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
