Armsworthy Acupuncture & Wellness is a small clinic with a focus on integrative care and a calm, professional environment. We work as a close-knit team and are looking for a Registered Massage Therapist who is motivated, confident, and excited to build their own client base while contributing to a supportive clinical space.

Position Details:

This is a subcontractor opportunity ideal for an RMT who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. You'll be operating under the clinic's name while managing your own clients and schedule.

We are currently looking for a confident, motivated Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives both independently and collaboratively, and who is eager to build their own practice within a supportive space.

Ideal Candidate:

A confident and reliable RMT, registered and in good standing with your massage therapy association (e.g. CRMTA, NHPC, etc.) Motivated to grow their own clientele through strong communication, reliability, and consistency. Comfortable with digital charting and EMR systems (Jane App experience is a bonus!). Strong computer skills and comfort using digital booking systems, direct billing platforms, and electronic medical records. Comfortable issuing receipts and managing client payments. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. A genuine interest in building client relationships and being part of a wellness-focused clinic. Self-motivated to grow your client base in a quieter clinic environment. Reliable, professional, and excellent with communication

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences. Perform various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Utilize appropriate techniques to address specific client concerns and conditions. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and aftercare advice. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area and equipment. Stay informed about new techniques and trends in the massage therapy field. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients.

Important Notes:

This is not a busy walk-in clinic. We are a boutique-style wellness space where the right practitioner has the freedom and support to build something meaningful.

Qualifications

Valid provincial license or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Proven customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required. Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
