Responsibilities

Provide high-quality massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their goals for treatment. Utilize various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort and satisfaction during sessions. Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Ability to create a calming environment for clients. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in massage techniques. Previous experience in physio clinic or wellness center setting is a plus.
