Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through various massage techniques and therapies. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering effective massage therapy services to enhance overall wellness and promote pain management.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Provide a range of massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, tailored to each patient's condition. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to ensure safe and effective treatments. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any changes in condition using appropriate medical terminology. Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on pain management strategies. Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming environment for patients and addressing their concerns effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices, including med spa experiences.

Qualifications

Valid provincial license as a Registered Massage Therapist. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy. Specializing in Thai massage, lymphatic drainage and/or cupping is an asset Proven experience in providing high-quality patient service and assessment skills. Familiarity with various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Previous experience in a massage clinic setting is preferred but not required.
