Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their physical condition and discuss any specific concerns or areas of focus. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress to facilitate ongoing care. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for clients. Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and common conditions treated through massage therapy. Excellent communication skills to effectively discuss treatment plans and address client concerns. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and techniques.
