Job Summary

As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and professional massage therapy treatments to clients to help them alleviate stress, reduce pain, improve recovery from injuries and improve overall well-being.

Duties

- Perform various manual therapeutic massage techniques tailored to each client's needs

- Conduct thorough assessment to determine client's condition and goals

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Create a safe, comfortable and relaxing environment for clients

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences

- Educate clients on at-home care to extend the benefits of the massage

- Collaborate with other allied health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Skills

- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and understand their requirements

Requirements

- Provide CPIC record check

- Valid and up to date registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)

- Valid and up to date professional liability insurance as per the requirements of registration with the CMTO

- Strong knowledge of various massage therapy techniques, assessments, addtional modalities, and standards of practice.

- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism

- Committment to continous learning and professional development

Pay: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
