Our Seton Panther Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a full-time Registered Kinesiologist to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. Panther Sports Medicine has been a leader in the delivery of acute rehabilitation in our community for over 30 years and we pride ourselves in setting high standards in rehabilitation. We are searching for a Registered Kinesiologist seeking both personal and professional growth and is invigorated to work in fast-paced environment. As Kinesiologist on our team, you will be an integral part in both ensuring our physios' workflow and core values in customer care are upheld as well as providing exceptional one-on-one personalized care using your exercise therapy skills.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day



Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WCB, and Private clients in a gym setting Work with an interdisciplinary team in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment, and management of the client Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs Prepare, progress, and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician Assist the treating clinician with return-to-work planning Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized, and free of obvious safety hazards Modalities: Electrotherapy Proprioceptive Taping Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training Acts as a liaison between the client and Physiotherapist Assist Physiotherapists with busy caseloads Assembling Medical Chart documents

What you need to be successful



A university degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics Active membership with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA) or eligibility to become a member Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team Excellent oral and written communication skills Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel The ability to work both independently and as part of a team and to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their goals.
